Do you guys see any traces of cleaning on this coin? It seems PCGS did.

I don't see any cleaning; it looks like a very nice MS-64 Morgan to me. Maybe I'm missing something?
It'll be very interesting to see what other members say about this.

P.S. I've seen coins in problem free PCGS slabs that have obviously been cleaned.

Just as a "for instance," the fact that no hairlines are visible in these images is no guarantee they're not there.

You are very right, SsuperDdave.

The seller says

Any cleaning on this coin is very minor

Most likely the cleaning shows up much better in person. Which is the reason I buy coins in person only. Images a lot of times don't show the coin as it really is.

I see just the slightest halo effect around the stars and lettering. Maybe over-dipped? PCGS knows what they're doing, it must look cleaned in hand. Maybe the bright lighting in the seller's pics hides the damage.

Grading services are just people. They can make errors and possibly saying this was cleaned could be one of those errors. Or they see things not clear on the photo.

As do I. Whoever cleaned it did a good job.

I saw the halo, too, and it's part of why I agree with PCGS' opinion. Coins don't halo naturally - NT reaches the devices.

As stated its tough to see from a photo particularly through a slab. Looks like wash streaks above the olive branch of the reverse. I would bet it's a good call from PCGS.
