I got a $20 Wolf coin today and as you know it comes glued in a pouch on a nice looking card with a description of the coin.
Do you guys take your coins off the card so you can store and display them easier? If so, do you still save the card? Just wondering if there is any collectible value in that packaging.

I'm typically am the kind of guy that cuts up my mint sets, so I'm really fighting the urge to rip it open right now! :)

I take the capsules with the coins off the card but I keep for sure the card. I've my coins in one place and the cards in another one.

This is my way to store / display them:

yes, the COA (cards) colorful and nice, but since it not really "coin in the card", so I just separate them. Store the cards in other place.

Nice jewel case! Is that mint-issue or did you buy it elsewhere?

I'm going for the whale/iceberg, goose, and swimming bear next. I really enjoy the animal designs on Canadian coinage.

I store coins & card & pouch seperately as well - however I try to make sure that I have all available in case I might sell something (which I never did so far, but I tell this Story to my wife) :-)

Thank you much!
This is RCM case, but manufactured for other coins (gold, but do not remember which year). Some Canadian dealers have it in stock (the case) from time to time.
I decided to quit with 20for20 as a series exactly with the last coin of 2013, so my set is contain 10 coins only. From 2014 bought "The Goose" due to design.

I'm not really a series collector. I just pick and choose what I consider to the best (or sometimes what I can afford) from series that I like and keep a few examples. I don't think I'll end up with all the 20 for 20 either, just the ones I think are "cool".

I kind of just started seriously looking at Canadian coinage and there are a lot of really nice dollars in the series, too. I've got a bid on a 1980 polar bear right now, and I picked up a 1966 Voyageur yesterday.

Like most I separate but keep the card. You see the cards selling on ebay for a couple of bucks.
