So far as I know, when creating a link to an ebay item, you use http://www.ebay.com/itm/ followed by the number of the ebay item, so in this case http://www.ebay.com/itm/230838115445 should work.

I believe the forum software automatically creates a link when you simply post the ebay item number.

Galba was an old man when he became emperor, but not that old. The bust on this coin is not that of an old man but a much younger one that doesn't even look like Galba. I have not been able to find a match in his imperial issues. I also checked Gens for Roman Republic coin and found no match to a Gens Galba either.

There was a Praetor in republican times, ca. 70 b.c by the name of C. Sulpicius Galba. Coinage was issued in his name. Maybe this is the Galba what the seller is referring to.

Thanks, guys. I was really just passing on the fun I had working out his age from the description on the ebay item, but I did get some good advice on the coin, AND on how to 'link' to an ebay item.

Yes Fuzzy, after a lot of 'hair pulling (on the single strand I have left) I did work out that simply the ebay item number would (magically) suffice. I am not very 'tech savvy' and it took a lot of consternation on my part.

A tip for those who are considering the purchase of a 'safe' for their coins.
Do NOT consider one that has the words 'documents' and 'fire' in the description as this type is only offering good protection against fire, and very little protection against theft. (Grrrrrrr.)

If anyone wants a safe to protect documents against fire, I have one to hand.

No, but I have several 'phone numbers of people/business' that don't want to work for a living that I can pass on to any interested parties.
