Found these Three Cents in the junkbox. I don't care for the plastic wrap they are now in, but I didn't know if it had any meaning or added any value to the cents. Please advise.
Not a high nine, high nine you look at the bottom, all of the numbers need to be on the same line, meaning the 9 rises above the top of the other numbers.
It was a fairly common practice for collectors to use that kind of cellophane to keep coins away from contact of the elements circa 1950s-1960s. Including the paper envelopes they were usually stored inside.
