OMG....me too Chris! Of course, I'm getting better and better as a collector. I don't much care about color, just quality is important. I'm getting picky about strike, die state and blasted carbon spots.

I'm getting EXTREMELY frustrated with the Memorial series. It's almost impossible to find quality coins! They are so, so neglected because of the large mintage and low collector value, they are used and abused. The vast majority (99.5%) have carbon spots, dings, worn dies, etc. For all you people that think they are 5-10 cent coins....I might be dead when it happens...but my Memorial collection WILL be valuable....just wait in 50-100 years when it will be nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find quality Memorial coins.

Here are some pics from the Wheat shootout-

Amac,

What are you hopping for, MS65-66 and a PF 66-67 on the proof?

Eaglefoot,

Ya I seen that one on ebay and had to get it, it is an actual 1930, kinda like a hobo cent but cooler!
