Sweeeeeeet!! 22-D, I almost picked one up this weekend at a coin show, it had a really nice strike the "D" was strong, something you don't see much.

Hey Chris! Did the 22D you saw look that good? I've been looking at these for a long time and this one just blew me away.....never seen anything close before. I thought my EF 22D was awesome, it's in my "junk" pile now. LOL

Ya, but something was up with the color and the seller is always rude to me and my boy so I try not to buy anything from him. I did pick up a very nice VDB that has toned like the matte proofs do, I will try to get some picks up soon.

Im literaly drooling over that 1914D and the fact there was 1922Ds and so on. Ask your grandma if she wants to adopt me so I could look through her change also.

Badthad....those pictures of your coins are great examples of exactly why my wife doesn't allow me to eat chicken wings at Hooters any more! I had to hide my Dansco 7103 until the pixels are washed from my memory....

Alright guys, things are slowing down at work finally and its time to post what I have been buying over the last few months, I literally have 1000's to go through for roll searching, I got 10 rolls of 1970-S BU OBW, over 100 circulated rolls, and my most prized is a bank bag of 5000 1960P dated march 1960, do you think there are any small dates in there? Anyways here are the new album additions, we will start with my favorite, I already have a handful of these but this one cried out to me to take it home, the blues in this are like a matte proof. The next 2 are album up graders- The next 2 I found roll searching and just thought they were nice for circulated rolls-

I cant even compete with you guys. The most valuable one I have is a 1909vdb. I try not to buy any coins though. I have more fun looking through rolls to find my coins and as long as I'm finding wheaties Ill keep getting rolls.

Most of my favorites are not the most valuable in my collection, I have an old 1918 that I keep because it has a black tone to it and I found it when I was 8 years old. BTW nice 1936!
1913-V post some pics, this thread is not about who has the best, it was supposed to be about taking the pics of the cents then showing them off. I got some ideals from another thread and want to try some different lighting techniques.

I know I am more particular now with my purchases, in the past is was to just fill the hole, now each cent has to have a certain look to it to go into the album. I was thinking when I was at the coin show Sunday that for me to finish my album its going to take years to find the cents I want to go into it. Go ahead and wait by your mailbox, I will get the collection in the mail today!
