The best thing about paying in cash is receiving coin back! I just made a return at the mall and was looking at my change when I got home. I found an American Samoa P quarter and a dateless Buffalo nickel.

Some one must of dropped a bunch of dateless Buffalo nickels in circulation for fun. I have had two co-workers show me the coins and ask about them as they had never seen one before. Every once in a while I unload a batch of culls usually V nickels for fun. Yes, I enjoy going through my change when I get it back. People often wonder what in the world am I looking at for so long. If only they knew! |

Some days are just hard to understand. Three wheat's (1941) oldest.

As I said on other threads,where I live in Canada I don't get many U.S. coins while roll searching,but Surprise,Surprise  I snagged a 1940s Wheatie yesterday |

That note, when new, had about $320 worth of purchasing power in today's Dollars. Now it bought not even a full tank of gas....   |

Went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast this morning and got a 1934
quarter. Also got Mommas pancake breakfast.

My 2 best finds this week, first I fold a 1901 Indian head in a roll from the bank. The best was a nice new $20 bill on the sink in Lowes.

A Walker Half?!?! I find tons of wheaties and the occasional silver dime but never would even dream of a Walker. Congrats!
got 22 cents back from McDonald's today...two Wheats :)

That 1936-S Walker is an awesome find, homer!  I got a 1963-D Roosie today, can't complain too much! I don't have too many 1963's in my 'junk silver Dimes from circulation' stash, the 1964-D Dimes outnumber the rest of the Date/MM's combined! (I even have more 1960,'61, and '62 Dimes than I do '63's  ) Edited by DNA
