I went to a different bank to pick up some rolls of dimes ($50 to be exact) and while I ultimately got nothing, I was able to get a 1976-D Bicentennial Ike from the teller's tray. https://goccf.com/t/60465&whichpage=76It's here (near the bottom) if anyone is interested in seeing it. |

This wasn't recently, but found shiny mint 1¢ Bahamas penny in take a penny jar at store, 25¢ Belarus coin in change z(was so hope easy worn and filthy for a 1991 coin it got err... Redistributed, and a 10 something (schillen maybe?) Austrian coin on a coin star machine at grocery store (coin was a bit bigger than a quarter.)

Went with my grandmother (staying with her for week) and turned in a pile of scap metal- found my first star note- a crisp new $1! Probably common, but still exciting.

Today: Tarnished, brown-tinted 1964-D Dime in my grocery store change. I could see why this Dime was still in circulation. I didn't notice it was a 1964-D until I looked closely. No, it's not a clad 1964-D error. The rim is dark, but without copper tone. And it pings.  Edited by DNA

I found a 1964 quarter and a silver State Quarter in the coin machine reject tray at my local bank. First silver State Quarter I've found in the wild. I also got 44 ikes from the teller. What are people doing with these? They take up too much room for me to want to keep them. Do they command any sort of premium in normal circulated condition? Oh, I also got 4 rolls of BU bicentennial quarters from my dealer for $40. Not bad at face! Now what to do with all of these nice beautiful quarters? |

Very nice! I would keep them, but that is just me. You should be able to sell them for a slight premium over face, but I do not if it would be worth the time and effort. Since I have never sold a coin, I am probably the wrong one to offer advice.  |

Just got a bicentennial quarter that seems to be in AU condition I know that those quarters are really common but I haven't seen one in such nice condition :3 |
