Ghostrider, post it on the bill forum before you say that. I'm sure interested, and I bet a couple of people over there will be too.

While it's not a US coin, I did come across a 10p coin from Great Britian that I am going to stash in my miscellaneous coin bottle. All foreign coins that I come across go in there. While a lot of my finds are not truly noteworthy, I do enjoy them.
I would enjoy them as well. They are different and worth saving for that reason.

Nina: I play liars poker on a regular basis and am always looking for ringers like that. I use it once or twice and the rest of time I bluff.

My christian friends sure have some strange names for me when I do that.

(edit) Is there a polite term for that type of number sequation? I know and have heard most of the other terms.

Two 1958 nickels and a 20-cent coin today. Before you get too excited about that 20-center, I found it in a penny roll and it's from Mexico, 2008.

So tonight at work was the worst night I've had in almost two years--I told my mom if it'd been my first night, it also would have been my last. But check out what I found:

--three Canadian cents
--one Barbados penny
--one 1949 nickel
--two Kennedy halves, both of which have positively *glowing* toning and are in AU/MS, 1966 and 1968

. . . . and . . . and guys, I'm so sorry but . . .

there were two halves under those Kennedys, and when I mentioned that I wanted to buy them from my coworker a customer said she'd like to buy one. So I scooped up the whole handful and dumped it on the counter thinking they were all Kennedys and--

--before I could see them and scoop them back up, she slid the two Franklins right across the counter, smiled, and went "I'll take these." T-they were also in AU.

Two 40% Kennedys at face isn't bad, but MAN!! If you could ever kick yourself in your own rear!

Tonight: Ike dollar!

Was going to bring him home, but a customer who is trying to rebuild his dad's collection offered me two bucks. I told him he could have it for face and he insisted on paying me double.

This is one I feel okay about not getting.

I got a bright 2009 Professional Life cent with a few spots on it today. It is amazing that I rarely see any of the Bicentennial pennies in circulation.
