I pulled the following from work today: 1941 nickel & 1958-D nickels as well as a 1952-D dime, two 1964-D dimes and a 1964 dime. They were all in the same till - I feel like I won a jackpot!

I found a 1964 at first and when I had another chance to look at the dimes in the till, realized there were three more! What killed me was there was only about a half roll of dimes in the till and I wonder if the cashier that was in before me handed some out to customers.

Oh, man, wulffy, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. If the last cashier did, remember this: there's always a chance you'll get them back when the customer spends 'em again.

Nothing exciting in the last two days, except I was at a Lady Gaga concert yesterday and found a 2002 nickel on the sidewalk. Not such of a much, but, you know, FREE GUMBALL!

I bet those dimes came from a customer rather than a roll. Either way... what are the odds?!

Couple days ago I picked up a 1918 penny from a take-one-leave-one box.
Also have found a 1936 & 1964 quarter in a roll. (Both were a bonus as part of searching for national parks)

1953 silver dime from change. I grade it: Fine. But grading don't help cause I call my silver dimes "junk silver". So they don't end up in a holder. Just inside of my bag.

Filled a hole in my pre 1960 from circulation album with a 1942-P in my pocket change. That brings me to:

12 more holes to fill from pocket change / CRH. :-)

Got a dollar tonight with five 8s in a row. Snagged that puppy like you wouldn't believe.

Also, a 1993 $5 in GORGEOUS condition and a $10* note. Those I didn't have the money for so I wrapped them in a piece of paper when I dropped 'em, asking Yalanda if I can grab 'em on Thursday. She's usually incredibly gracious about holding onto pricey pretties for me til payday (I think it amuses her--the other day she was counting out our ones from the carwash and giggling and going "It's torturing you, isn't it? You wanna go through them all and see if there's anything there" and at the end of the whole process she handed me a $1* and went "here, it's the only one in there").

Steve, I'm filling pre 60 Nickels from circulation as well. Obviously not all of the coins are in great condition, but its been the most fun I've had a set so far.
