Ive thrown my pocket change in a water jug for about a year. I dumped it all & seperated the quarters. I generally seperate each denomination & then go through themthuroughly when I have time. While seperating I found a 1943 D Mercury in great shape As well as a buffalo with no date. & I haven't even started searching yet. Just wanted to share!&  #127995;

My Brother in Law who is also a collector went to a bank in New Jersey about a month ago. He always goes to a window with a young teller because few young people are aware of the value in old coins. He asked the teller for any half dollars she had in the drawer. She put a handful in an envelope and he took them home only to discover a '59 Franklin, '64 Kennedy, '69d Kennedy and a few modern Unc Kennedy's that weren't intended for circulation.

Today I received a 2009 D Northern Mariana Islands quarter.
Always nice to get a 2009 dated coin.

  Doing some errands today, standing in line to pay and person in front drops a dime, decides eh, no need, and leaves. I pick it up said shoot I'll take this thanks! Cashier laughs. Next stop. No line, the leave a penny jar filled with shiny 2021 pennys. I tell the cashier. Here I'll swap ya, put the junker rosie in the tray in exchange for the pretty pennies. 9 total Got home and looks like they're not as good as I thought. Scratches, Finger print on one and what looks like... sanitizer drops on each but oh well. Worth the 1.11 cents ea. still!
