These are my two best ones, another 1979-P wide rim, near date, and a gorgeous higher grade 1980-S, probably about MS-65ish
Excellent!

I found this in my change from ALDI yesterday.
A UK 10 pence from 2014 with a very weak impression on the obverse resulting in part of the date missing & doubling of the rest of the letters.
You can see on the reverse the reason for the faulty impression. An extra large Cud on the bottom lion.
Nice example I'll be keeping this one.

Nothing special, but still neat to find a 1961 nickel in today's coffee change.

Nice nickel, Nells250!

Merv4468 - I have found a 10p identical to yours, and posted it in the section on UK coins:

I've also seen one on ebay:

In today's coffee change... used to see Canadian coins in New England a LOT when I was a kid. I don't think they come down to visit us Yanks as much as they once did.

I went to the local mom and pop store today and when the guy who works the register opened the till I saw a half dollar sitting there,
I asked him if he'd let me have it and put 2 quarters on the counter. I actually had to show him where it said half dollar on the reverse because he didn't know what it was.
What made it special was it was a 2021 to boot.
I really miss getting halves in circulation like I did when I was a kid back in the late 50's and early 60's.
Sorry for the lousy picture but my camera isn't working and I asked my daughter to take it with her phone and she was in a hurry.

Hi all
Another UK 10 pence with a Cud, this time it's from 2012.

Hi all,
Found this in my pocket change recently. The reverse is off-center, I think that the die has moved giving the coin a thin lip at the top edge & a wide lip at the bottom.

Interesting-Find-From-Circulation

any thoughts anyone?

Merv
