Today I received 2 good finds.

The first was a gem bu 2003 d maine quarter that has some light toning.

It looks like it was just minted.

The second was a 2009 Formative Years cent.

I live in the Denver mints backyard so it is uncommon for me to get philly minted coins.

Not a new find, but this thread has been going for 17 years.
Here's a medal depicting Gary Burke (RIP), the man who started this thread. Gary was a great help with my U.S.A. coins and a good friend.

It is a 2020 W Salt River Bay quarter.

Yes it has the weird mark to the left of washington.

This is only the second W minted quarter I have ever found and my first with the weird mark to washington.

I will release this one back into circulation like the last one.

The mark is a v75 for the 75th anniversary of WW2. Nice find!

I got a 1951-D Wheat cent in my change at the craft store the other day, and now found a 1974-S Memorial cent on the sidewalk in town this morning!
