I'm aware that there are no possible over dates with the mint processes. Due to the off center strike of this coin I thought maybe there was a small possibility it could happen. The coin is a little dirty so I used a filter to help with contrast and better show what I'm looking at. The reverse shows no doubling whatsoever. The overstrike is almost a perfect 90° counterclockwise.

Just a 2000-P cent with coin wrapper damage and plating disturbance. Possible Parking lot cent?

2001 over 20001D perhaps, but certainly car over coin.

Looked interesting in a messy kind of way haha! The mint mark looked prominent to me. Otherwise, I wouldn't have given it much thought. I'll see if things clear up but I think the odds on such a thing aren't in my favor. Would be cool if such a thing occurred with a Modern.
