What does CCF think for grade and value? Also, do the surfaces look right?

AU-58 and the surfaces look good to me. Still has dirt in the devices so I don't think this one has been cleaned.

Grade AU-55, very little wear. I think it's problem-free as well.

Can anyone point me to where the wear would be located on these Barber halves (i.e the high points). I'm beginning to get familiar with Barber coins but when it come to higher grades, I still have trouble looking for key/high points that typically have first signs of wear

Nice coin, looks UNC from the images, but has been dipped a few times. I'd say MS62. If it does have wear, I'd be at AU55. Tough to tell from the images.

On the higher grade examples, this is where I look for wear:
Obverse: The major areas being the face and neck. The secondary areas being the wreath, cap, and the fields.
Reverse: Look for wear on the eagle's neck, wings, tail, and especially the shield.

The only thing the photos show that is the least concerning is the 'halo effect' around the devices which often indicates a light dip. In hand if the luster remains uninterrupted in those areas I'd go AU 55.
