Also has a ding on the nose, this sucker still has luster and nice fields and most of the devices are MS but the scratch and ding puts this one on sale. What you think its gonna grade?

Interesting 3 legger. The fine scratches throw me on this one. AU53 details.

May just be the photo though - sometimes this REALLY casts harsh light.

In hand, what is your thoughts?

in hand I think that it's at least a 53 as well it just depends on how badly they ding for the scratch, I am going to send it in and get it graded

I would grade it AU55 for detail.
However, with the multiple nicks, hairlines, and the scratch, I would drop it to AU50.

Looks definitely AU53 minimum, the scratch will hurt it but the surfaces seem strange to me, almost acid etched, or corrosion without the corrosion showing, like it was removed. Could be over-sharpened or harsh lighting in the photo though. A super high grade key Buffalo.

AU 50 to 55 details for scratches and cleaning. Still a nice coin though.

I would be concerned about this coin. Surfaces are strange and the mintmark looks funny, large and very thin 'D'. How did you obtain this coin?

Looks authentic to me, just harshly cleaned with scratches. AU Details. Maybe worth having slabbed?
