You can ask for a damaged holder to be replaced, can't you?

Of course you can! And the serial number should stay the same as well, do you have a picture of the damage?

Thank you! No slab to photo anymore, I already cracked it out for my 7070. Holder had scratches, and the seller mentioned he get it re-holdered if I wanted. Didn't know the details, but now I do!

If it is out of the holder it is treated as any other raw coin and will have to be regraded.

Oops, I fired this reply off too early without reading the whole thread, the info is still good though.

...and if you have the variety attributed, the serial number stays the same too...If you wanted to know.

Along these lines, will the original holder be returned upon request? I ask this because the damaged holder may have a CAC and CAC stickers are not automatically replaced.
