I saw this picture from a blog post. The picture comes from a Nederland auction house, Corné Akkermans Auctions.

Has anyone heard of this TPG? The blog post says it was at 1200 Euros and didn't get sold (below reserve?). Here's the blog post: http://www.uang-kuno.com/2014/10/ha...erbaru.html#

They are running a advert in UK Coin News mag

I think they are targeting the European market I think they are based in Spain

As the USA has http://www.cganotes.com ,http://www.pmgnotes.com , http://www.pcgscurrency.com

I dont know about Canada

and now over in Europe http://www.icgrading.com

Also they use Pick numbers and The Banknote Book numbers (Owen Linzmayer)

Now out of these four which one or two command better prices when selling or who do the collectors trust more

Definitely PMG or PCGS are the best, or are what will get you the best prices when selling. Highly reputable and very well known. But PMG is probably the best since PCGS is (I think) primarily coins, but since PCGS is highly respected in coins, I suspect they're of the same standard with paper.

Greetings - We represent International Currency Grading (ICG), which is indeed the latest addition to the paper money grading universe. We are based in Europe and our background is world paper money. We are no experts on US Currency or coins or any other collectible, but when it comes to knowing, understanding and grading world banknotes, we believe we are top of the class.

Since we have only been in operation for about 15 months, our track record in terms of sales is obviously shorter than our competitors' in the US. However, we have already graded about 12,000 banknotes, many of which have sold at some of the largest world auctions and our evidence so far is of a very strong reception by the collector community. We are now committed to building a strong track record of credible, transparent and consistent grading that collectors worldwide will recognise as the standard for world banknotes.

We love feedback and we are open to any questions, comments or technical discussion on world paper money or paper money grading.

Thanks for your interest and best regards

The ICG Team
