SF/LD
From the pics appears to be VF
Melt value is correct, but if silver continues its backslide the numismatic value may exceed melt value.

DBM is absolutely correct. What you do not understand VICD is that when silver is very high some coins are worth more melted than as a collectors item ie. at $35.00 an ounce a 1958 BU dollar melts at $21.00 and should go in the melt pot. On the other hand at $15.00 silver the same coin melts at $9.00 and would probably still sell at the same 20- 21 dollar level. This is what is known as a semi numismatic coin. There are many examples of this scenario. On an other topic I will tell you this DBM is a wonderful contributor to this forum and is also very, very knowledgeable in the area of numismatics. I personally know him and we have had dealings over the years. In a word yes he is an expert and knows of what he writes.

I don't know DBM personally, but he definitely knows what he's talking about. Almost always comments on the questions I have.
