I just discovered that there can be errors on US Currency. I came across this $1 bill and was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a significant enough error to keep? Looking at the serial number, the 0 appears to be lower and the B higher than the rest of the other numbers.
It's a 'roll error' which is common in roll-to-roll printing. And, despite calling it an error, it is within tolerance. If you keep searching you'll soon find more of these.
Speaking of finding more, one of the straps I got in my holiday money order has this issue and as you flip through the bills you can watch the number shift around. Wonder if there is any added value there. Some have heavier shift than others.
