coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/18/2014 01:25 am Turning the image to horizontal I noticed that it appears to be deep die polishing in that area to cover a clash: TIP OF THE DAY: Rotating images to make the devices horizontal is helpful to see what is really going on with a coin. So far this is the only one year know with that much abrasion. But I'm sure it happened other years. Another collector found another example from the same die.
