I need help in trying to grade this coin. I think this is one of the ones my mom tried to clean with jewery cleaner. I'm not sure if that affected anything or not towards grading.

Yes, unfortunately, the numismatic value, if there was any, has been crushed. In higher grades, the 1921-S is relatively rare, but in lower grades/cleaned, etc. it's not worth much more than it's silver content. There's little practical difference in rarity or value between VF and AU.
