Received this note from a store yesterday(circulated but appears to be almost uncirculated). Would this be considered a low serial number, and if so, is it worth anything more than the face value?

To my understanding low is anything under 1000, of course, premiums are better at the low end. Sorry I can't answer to the exact added premium.

Yes I with coin scavenger, it would obviously be worth a lot more if it were a 111 or a 2 or a 222 or 999 you get it, something special, however you may get a number thrown at you from someone giving you a small appraisal, but what someone is willing to pay is what you are going to get.

Very nice Banknote, and yes it is hard to see from the pictures but it does seem and AU. Check out http://www.coinsandcanada.com/bankn...l-number.php

Yes I defiantly think it is worth more than face value, but right now not very many collectors are going to spend a dollar over face, because they think that they can go find one themselves in circulation. Unlike a 1954 note or 37 note.

Yes.. unless you find a low collector... you may end up sitting on this one for awhile.... as for how much of a premium... I don't think you'll get much more than 15%... but when you say it's not UNC... (my guess is it becomes a spender)
