I normally don't post these things, but, since the weight is so under at 1.43 grams, I thought I'd put it up. My hunch is PMD, with fire or acid issues, flattened in vise, and a garage day from heck.
Looks more like an acid dipped cent. The reduced thickness tell me that is what it is. Found outside would not remove the rims and the thickness of the cent.
wow..a 1909-S VDB..found in pocket change this week...thanks for the input..notice the rotated die..when I shot the coin, I flipped it 180, and, it looks to be at least 25% off rotation, CW.
