Hey all! Anyone have any idea what the black spots are on the reverse of this Washington quarter are? I'm thinking some kind of PVC damage. It's also showing around the eye and cheek on the obverse. Thanks for any comments.

Acetone might do the trick. It wouldn't hurt.

I'd grade it MS-58, maybe MS.

Thanks, I was thinking of buying it to try the acetone soak. But the seller is asking to much and won't come down to make it worth trying it. Thanks for the opinions
