I've just pulled 7 out of a roll and they all have it. C&C claims that their value is around 2-4x more the the ones without. Also, they all seem to have at least 3 more die clashes on each side. The seller I got them from said that the roll was unsearched, which should mean that there would be a mix of both, but so far, no.

I have also found a number of 62-65 Hanging numbers, they are not uncommon. fining double hanging numbers is cooler. I think for these years (62/63) the variety to look for is the guitar/harp/ukelale under the 1 (1 cent) as I have not found one yet in about 4 years of looking.

I would argue no... in fact, it took me longer to find a gem strike (MS-66) that did not have the die clash, than one that did...

Take a look on E-Bay and all the hanging small cents listed I might speculate that some years are harder to find then others. I have been looking for a 1956 Hanging 6 for 3 months and not found a nice BU that's problem free. Seller are asking from 2.00 to 24.00 and yes some are asking in the hundreds

It depends on if you have a buyer in which is willing to spend money on it and actually buy it. also, there is not a large market for them...

So true I have a coin that only 3% of the total minted for this year is struck with this Obv and Rev die match, but very few collect the die variety for this year. Will I ever get big money for it no I'm I happy yes did I have fun hunting yes so in my book it's a Win Win

There is a lot to be said, for "the thrill of the hunt"... with coins.
