Everything is for sale, you just may not like the price!

This guy tends to buy the higher quality carved coins off of ebay then list them back on at triple what he paid. Good money if you can get it.

Whoever did that did a really good job. IMO, the Hobo Nickel is a neat little touch.

Nice looking but not in my interest area.
And I'm curious about the reverse (although on hobo nickels the reverse is not considered).

Incredible work of art, but frankly it's not worth 6.5k. I would have considered buying it at 200$ but 6.5k...

If you really want it, pay an honest price for the artwork ONLY. The artist appears to have left his mark with a sign, and dated it.
I have no idea on how to value artwork such as this, but it may not be single piece only; one of the things you are obliged to guess at. Sometimes, an artist will do several of them, all similar.

For mine, it has no value as a coin.

My gut feeling says it may be worth up to a couple of hundred dollars maximum, unless it is the work a widely recognised artist.

As with all things, it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
