My experience is that coins of this country and period are relatively easy to find in MS60 and better. Pre WW2, 5 Mils to 100 Mils. All of the coins in my collection in this category, came out of dealers' junk boxes, but I must say that, that was over 20 years ago. I haven't seen any recently. Report this Post to the Staff

I've never seen any better than EF and those are rarely seen, mostly what I see are VG to VF. Perhaps the ANZAC Mounted Division took the best specimens home. It wouldn't surprise me if the Krause values were wrong because they are for other countries/series but usually they're too low. I just wish I could buy modern French for the prices listed by Krause.
