So me and a couple of my friends are coin collectors. So we meet on Sundays after are church session. But this week friend didn't come to church. So we were a little on edge.

After the church service we called are friend and he was IN SHOCK! Some person had robbed his coin collection! But My friend is smarter than that the robber had only stolen about 10% of his collection [still terrible] But he has a safe under his bed! As friends we got together and we each gave him some coins that he had out that were taken.

Now he won't hesitate to but ALL of his coins in that safe. We were non hesitant to restore the coins for him so he took us to lunch for the favor. And we went to a Panera Bread for lunch. We saw a man in his mid 60's and he was grading coins. so we asked him what coins are you grading? He replied 'Some Morgan dollars.' We asked 'What years?' he said 1896. and My friend turned to me and said That was a type of coin that got stolen from me this morning!. We didn't think he was the robber. he over heard my friend saying stolen this morning and the man said 'I remember the day I woke up and 95% of my collection was gone. we were sad for him but he chuckled and god us 'The cops found the guy and he felt so bad he game my my coins back and a check for 200$ so I got lucky.

He handed us a 1896 Moran and we drooled But he said 'I want you to have this BUT it is not in 1 of your collections it is In all of your collections so not 1 person can have it. We took it and he said god speed and left. Not seriously [as a joke] but my friend turned to me and he said 'Did we just encounter the coin angle?' We laughed and ate and hung out.

I convinced him to thinking about joining are forum!

Just where in his place did he have all those coins? Sounds odd that his place was robbed and only coins were taken? Or did they take other items not mentioned?

Good point. If they just took his coins it was probably someone he knows and who knows he was a collector.
