You are seeing things! @Polarbear The Large Bead Pointed 5 and Blunt 5 Proof like dollars did NOT come in sets . They were a back door deal for a few favoured dealers back in the day. The coins came wrapped in the same cellophane style wrap as the 1962 and earlier PL dollars and 1960 and earlier PL sets. Quite a few ended up in the hands of noted Vancouver coin dealers of the period , Benny Lee Ltd. , Monarch International , and Vancouver Coin just to name a few. The ICCS Pop report for 2014 shows 306 Blunt 5 Large Beads and 357 Pointed 5 Large Beads. The best pieces are 2 pieces graded PL 67 Cameo both are type 4 Large bead PTD 5. The next best are PL 66 coins in both blunt and pointed LB. Further information can be found bottom page 233 Vol.1 A Charlton Standard Catalogue CANADIAN COINS
68th edition 2014. Hope this helps !
