I have
Wheat penny, 1946, that has quite deep cavity, about 5-6mm in diameter, on a front next to Lincoln's chest and year 1946 is minted over this indentation. The indentation looks like it was chipped away and then year was printed. On the back side the coin is absolutely normal, no bulges, nothing remarkable. What could be possible value of this coin? It is not new, it was circulated. I plan to post pictures as soon as I have decent camera. I had to make pictures with Photo Booth, so year is not visible, but it's 1946 and numbers look normal. The indentation, actually, measures 4 mm.
