I was going through my Presidential Proof Set and noticed that the John Adams proof has a mercury colored stain above the first name, on the N to be exact. I took various pictures and this is the best I can get. It's easier to see having it in hand of course. I wanted to know how such a coin gets this on it or if it's some sort of error?

It's hard to see and not spotable right away, I was happing to look at it with a loupe and found it like so. Anyway, I am curious as to what might have caused this? Thank you

I know they are using a special finish for the business strikes so they don't tarnish as easily. It may be caused by that finish.
