At the time ebay decided to terminate all seven experts in the coin department of Safety and Trust I was working on a Spanish forgery ring. My efforts had already attracted their attention since I had hit several of their IDs for selling bad counterfeits. They were one of three large inter-related groups we were trying to stop.

That particular group (the Spanish group) counterattacked at ebay saying that the opinions we were rendering were flawed - inconsistent and that we were not able to be positive form pictures alone. They used many names to write to ebay to make complaints and we successfully defended against their complaints until the new management at ebay took over. Their attacks on us were rather familiar to the charges that have been leveled on this forum by someone using two IDs to make multiple posts under false pretenses.

When dealing on a open forum - there are always hidden agendas - but an intentional effort to discredit the methodology employed by using incomplete information and then cherry picking responses to paint a false picture of the method is reprehensible.

I will be ignoring future posts from anyone that supports this line of attack.

Our "Moroccan friend" has now been banned from the forum, for resorting to vulgarity in an apparent attempt to have his thread removed. He will now be treated like a spammer.

We will not, however, be deleting the thread, as it will no doubt prove helpful in disproving future examples of these fakes.

I have genuine concerns that these people are using this forum or any other forum to learn how to improve their counterfeits.

This is one seller in Spain that is known to sell counterfeits:

And then a counterfeit ring in Belarus
