This is what I affectionately call my " Lincoln Cent Collection from Hell". It's still a work in progress, but I should have it completed in the next couple of months. It will have an example of every Lincoln Cent made (except proofs. working on that slowly too). Also shopping for the 1955 DD. The majority will be in BU condition (thanks Ducky). My older cents (< 1930) are mostly in VF20 and up. The key dates are in airtites, I believe them to be from EF to AU....except for my 1922 no D weak rev. Just last night I ordered a BU set from 1959-2007 to complete the set, those are sure cheap.

I could go on and on about the details, if you have questions, just ask. Pics for your enjoyment:

Well...lets see....LOL....somewhere around 50 years. My Grandfather started the collection. He gave me a completed vintage Whitman from 1909-1952 plus more. Then for the past few months, I've added to/upgraded the collection. I didn't like all those coins sitting in that crappy Whitman folder, especially the key dates.

Hehe, I started the same way, with a bunch of whitmans from my father, that he started with HIS father! But they didn't have any of the keys, so it might take me 50 years MORE to finish! Congrat'z on the set!

Congrats ! Mine is almost complete as well! Of course I need the 1909-S and the 1909-S-VDB and the 1922 NO d. they are all red Unc from 1937 up to date with some red unc and Red Brown and brown uncs before 1937. From 1909 to 1937 I average about Ef/Au except for a few of them And I have proofs From 1951- To date Plus some errors and varieties. It has been very challenging but fun and I cant wait to complete it. For the Unc's from 1958 to date I personally selected choice mint sets and removed the coins from the cellophane, I wanted the best Quality I could afford. I am sure glad I am not trying to build the majority of this set now the cost of coins has gone way up.

I am too darksided to ever complete a set of Lincolns, it was not until just recently that I even worked on it, with a '14-D. The closest I have ever come to completing a set of US coinage is my Mercury dimes, of which I am only missing the '16-D, and I performed that one years ago.

So I am envious of people that can complete a set of something like Lincolns.

Thad,

Boy, I've never had a customer post pictures of items purchased from me. Kinda gives me the WARM FUZZIES.

I would like to say that working with you in our trades was a FANTASTIC Experience. I can not express my appreciation for your Honesty, Fairness and concern that I was pleased with your trades. I wish there were more people that had your Integrity and Sense of Fair Play. I would be Honored to trade and/or deal with you again.
To any person thinking of trading with Thad, there are few people that I could recommend as highly as Thad.

Thanks,
Dick.....ducky1100

PS. I still can upgrade a number of your Lincolns like the 35-S, 39, 39-D 45-S, 51-D, into RED BU.

Congrats on completing the Lincoln set. I have a 1922 (D) coming to me in the mail on Monday that will complete my set of at least one from each year. It will be along time before I complete the full set though. (if ever)

well done
