Old Cga Graded Notes Caution - Coin Community Forum

The "old" pre-2009 graded notes are notorious for being seriously over graded and are not covered by any CGA guarantees. If purchasing one assume it is not even close to being graded properly and should be considered a raw note. I just received one I bought on ebay, knowing this fully. It is in a CGA XF-40 holder. I assumed it would not be anything even close. I think the true grade is probably VG-10 which is consistent with what I paid for it and pretty much what I expected. Report this Post to the Staff
