We will be auctioning this note off next month on our private site with about 70 other notes and I am just trying to get an idea of what the community things this is worth? I think there are only 5 known (including this one which has never been auctioned before) and was thinking of starting it at $10k? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Heritage Auction archives shows they have sold 3 of this Friedberg number since 2008 however one record is the same note.

A PMG VF-30 example in April 2008 for $27,600

A PMG VF-30 example in April 2013 for $7,050

A PCGS F-12 example in September 2008 for $3,450

I would have hated to be the consignor who sold that in April of 2013 for $8K when it had sold 5 years prior for almost $28K.

As to what your note is worth, I'll defer to the more knowledgeable/experienced members of this forum.

Oh WOW!! In 5 years the same note dropped $20k! Yeah, hopefully that consigner didn't promise too much. I don't actually own the notes, I am assisting the owner in selling them and he is not very savvy using online capabilities so that is why I am reaching out. I appreciate the assistance and maybe we have to drop the price a bit. I will consult with him. Thanks again!
