I found this beautiful 1880 MS64RD Indian Head cent that the seller doesn't realize is an S8 earring. My question to you guys is what do you think the value would be on that ? I know a regular 1880 MS64RD is right around 600 bucks. Any ideas ?

I see that Rick Snow has a NGC MS65 for $600, but I wouldn't pay that for a raw coin--if that's what you're looking at.
Not that I buy many MS coins, and I always get my varieties under the radar.

I saw the exact coin you are referring to the day it was posted. If I recall it was in an older holder. I recall the coin being "RD" on the label, but a faded red coin was in the slab. It might look better in hand, but I stayed away from it.

If you do go for it, post better pics......I want to see what it really looked like.

I saw it posted on the bay....no email. But if I recall, it was a pretty reputable dealer which is always a plus.

1880 in MS64RD is a sub-$500 coin at Heritage.
