yes, overprice I know, ever McD 2013 has gem listed as $400.
I am thinking here the key is to use low quality images when selling APCGS graded coins, so hard to find a good images of any APCGS pre 1966 coins.

The obverse doesn't look too flash but the photos are terrible which you would
expect from an APCGS slab seller

Retail price for that coin would be $25.
Book price $70 for about uncirculated, halve that for the polishing.
Then reduce by $10 for the effort required to crack it out of that slab.

incorrectly graded coin from a third rate grading company , I would expect nothing less from a company who has no idea about grading , I wonder if the grading company will buy back the coin and riemburse the selller

have a look through all this sellers listings' ALL the images on the APCGS listings are absolute "Shokkers" and yet the Raw coin listings have rather good images  it does seem rather strange  I would Love to hear the Members response and reasons for this in this thread as this seller IS a member on this site. the coin is still for sale , maybe the buyers are more educated these days and are learning how to spot over graded coins from a mile away

I have had Yet another "Tirade" of personal abuse from this particular seller that I banned from bidding on any of my offerings. It is wearing a bit thin especially her fascination regarding my genitals considering she claims to be 72 years of age I know for a fact that this particular person is a member on this site and as of yet hasn't had the decency to stand up and be counted, But prefers to threaten, insult and degrade me via ebay messaging . Time you "Fronted Up" here fortymillion from Tasmania whoever you are, Instead of the cowardly insults, innuendo's and remarks you freely send me via ebay |
