I don't think so. Use the search box upper left of page,type in 1983 double ear.

Looks like machine damage during the strike. The hair also shows it on the back above the collar. It is reducing the size and what you are seeing is the outline of where it was before the damage. Happens a lot on cents.

Yup, you're right......it is reduced in size. Thanks for pointing that out. This was the first one of the doubled ear type I "thought" I had found, so I still have a bit to learn on those.
