You were soo close with Kamnaskires III...now you are traveling away. This guy, although a Persian was not from Parthia or Persis and was not a member of the House of Sasan.

Are you sure that there isn't just an attribution difference?

Noted - Medieval. There are some conflicting attributions but this king has some pretty solid numbers.

Had a look at my references for Persis and couldn't find a similar image (so would have just to be a stab into the dark), but googling I found http://tjbuggey.ancients.info/Parth.html have a look at the third coin.

Well Medieval in your reference you found the coin but that attribution, but you did find the coin with it saying its "III" but its really "V" or "VI" most likely "VI" with a small child(?) narrow bust instead of the more detailed "Bearded Man" bust.

So I will give it to you RonSki you came the closest the soonest.
Some Background info:

Elam or Elymais, they where a quasi-imdependent kingdom in Parthian Persia. They were destroyed by the Sassanian dynasty, starting with the Pathian defeat by Ardashir I. Sassanid rule was later cemented by Shapur I son of Ardashir and co-regent. Elam is a canidate for the home of one of the 3 wisemen, who came from the east to visit Jesus, because they observed some type of celestial event.

Kingdom of Elam
King KAMNASKIRES VI Late 1st cent BC to early 1st century AD
Billon Tetradrachm 16.10g x 29mm
obv: diademed bust of king right, Star and Crescent Tamgha in right field.
rev: Male bust left with garbled legend
ref: Seaby 5889

Now that my head is spinning after that last coin, which I was just about going to through in the towel on. Nice coin BTW. Here is one that should be real easy.
