Hi folks . I have searched and searched and whilst I found info that was similar - ish. It was all vague and descriptions uch as. " Other dates may exist" Informative but not exactly helpful. I think it is from Darfur province of Sudan maybe a Piastre. There is a text in krause explaining that due to a shortage of small change imitation unmilled egyptian Quirish(Piastre) which were produced outside of Sudan were brought in to circulation in Darfur AH1323-1325.1905-07. in agreement with the Sultan.
But my con resembles none of the coins mentioned. I hope some knowledgable guru can tell me what coin I have.
Best wishes
zoo

The coin is not Indian but rather Ottoman.
Mint name is Constantinople.

Thanks for reply Medievil. I looked under ottomon and unless I read the date wrong which could be a strong possibility . I have hard enough time with my own language lol. AH1323 doesn't feature in the ottoman calander years. And the constantinople mint mark is completely different. The coin despite my best attempt of representing the natural color is gold I say gold because brass is usually more shiney. This is dull 0.9g 17mm and very thin planchet.
