I have found a few coins where the front is nearly the same. I have yet to find one with the same reverse. Which reads "Let Glasgow Flourish"

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Ggregory and welcome to the Forum!

This isn't a coin but looks like a commemorative medallion of some kind, perhaps produced and sold in Glasgow on the occasion of Queen Victoria's coronation - or perhaps her Golden or Diamond Jubilee.

I haven't seen a Glasgow reverse either, but the size and similarity of the obverse make me think this was a card game counter, rather than a medal.

I guess I loosely use the term "Coin". In searching for answers I would call this a token but often search under coin, token, medal or jeton.

I am trying to identify these for peace of mind and also would like to know the true value. I wouldn't see this going over $5 at auction on it's best day but you never know.
