My understanding is that the MTT - the Territorial Militia were part of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces so it is possible that your notes were a Military currency of that time period.

The MTT (Milicias de Tropas Territoriales-Territorial Troops Militia) is a Cuban paramilitary militia composed exclusively of civilian volunteers and are part of the army.

They were established on 1980 so I don't know where do you get from that they were marked as 1960.

The MTT are financed partially by donations of the community (sometimes an obligated donation) so these "bonos" you have would be the proof you receive when making a donation.

thanks for the info, I dont know much yet but fascinated with the peso and bonds of the 1950's and 1960's in Cuba .

when I bought them the seller marked the lot with date of 1960 with other military bonds that where dated 1958, 1959

But when I looked it up it said they where founded in the 1980's so I asked here to confirm as it didnt match up still interesting keepers.

here are some others I have or are coming in mail soon..

Lots of this sort of material has hitting the market over the last 3-4 years. Since there is little official documentation of these available at present it is difficult to determine if any of it is genuine, copies or fantasies.
