I just got this from my gf and I know its a 1878 7 TF Morgan dollar is there anything else I should know about it, and what grade would you put this at?

Cleaned, probably XF details. It is worth more as a keepsake from your grandfather ;)
It is a 1878, reverse of 1879. A bit more uncommon, but not to the level where it affects this coin's price at its grade.

gf = grandfather or girlfriend?

Hard to tell from these photos but it may well have been cleaned, but I think in terms of wesr it might eke out an AU50 grade.
