Hi everyone I have been searching penny rolls and came across this fella. I was noticing that the tone and luster of the coin is the same in the damaged areas which leads me to think its not PMD. Another thing thats baffling me is that all the letters , date and collumns in the mamorial are slightly doubled on both sides of coin. I cant get my camera in close enough to get good shots of doubling on the letters. Id love to hear some feedback thanks for your help.

I see what is PSD on both sides of the coin. The outside 3 looks like machine damage. The area inside the bays is probably a die polishing issue that affected the edges on the bays.

I agree I have found many coins with that kind of damage.
