The following is a release from the US Mint

The United States Mint will open sales for the 2014 Coin and Chronicles Set - Franklin D. Roosevelt (product code FR9) starting Dec. 22 at noon Eastern Standard Time (EST).

The set, limited to 20,000 units, contains the following:

One proof quality 2014 Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential $1 Coin

One proof quality 2014 Roosevelt dime

One Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Medal struck in .999 fine silver

One 1 5/16" Franklin D. Roosevelt Bronze Medal
Four U.S. postage stamps issued two months after the death of President Roosevelt:
--One 1-cent Roosevelt stamp "Hyde Park" depicting his beloved New York home
--One 2-cent Roosevelt stamp "Little White House" paying tribute to the president's favorite retreat in Warm Springs, Ga.
--One 3-cent Roosevelt stamp "White House" featuring a picturesque image of the White House in the background
--One 5-cent Roosevelt stamp "Four Freedoms" depicting a globe inscribed with his famous four freedoms, "Freedom of Speech and Religion, from Want and Fear"

One booklet including images from his life and presidency.


The coins, medals, and stamps are displayed in a rich green folder covered in a soft-touch material with a handsome textured look.

The proof Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential $1 Coin and the proof Roosevelt dime will be minted at the United States Mint at San Francisco. Both the bronze and silver medals will be produced at Philadelphia, but will have no mint mark.

The 2014 Coin and Chronicles Set - Franklin D. Roosevelt is priced at $57.95. Orders will be accepted at http://catalog.usmint.gov and at 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468), while hearing- and speech-impaired customers with TTY equipment may order at 1-888-321-MINT.
