Hi Guys,

Just out of interest does anyone know if there where any silver quarters recovered from the WTC, or was it just 1 0z silver and the various gold coins recovered?

I think it was just bullion coins that were recovered but I am not 100% sure, I sure haven't seen anything else claiming to be from the WTC

There is at least one exception to that. In the Collectors Universe version of the WTC slab (CU and PCGS WTC slabs look almost identical except for the logo on the back of the slab and the fact that the PCGS slabs actually carry a numerical grade.)it is possible to find 1961 Uruguay 10 peso coins. These were actual circulation coins of 900 fine silver that weighed 12.5 grams and contain .36 troy oz of silver. Hardly what I would consider an investment grade bullion coin.
