Interesting coins.
Can't recall where, but I saw a complete listing of Moushmov (no pictures) on a website some time ago. Sear(GIC) doesn't list your coin or a similar type.
Is there a good online references for the punchmarks?

thanks med! no, there isn't really a good online source. a few guys have some stuff, I figured out my attribution from a seller called ancient coins canada. not where I got this coin, but I have purchased several from them.

Love the reverse on the Caracalla. I have one Ashoka but have been planning on getting more. I find these early punched marked coins very interesting.

For a full attribution you might have to get hold of a copy of Ivan Varbanov's second volume on Thrace (*) - hope you can find it in a library or at a coin dealer. (*) GREEK IMPERIAL COINS and their values vol. III Thrace (from Perinthus to Topirus) Chersonesos Thraciae. Insula Thraciae. Macedonia There are other references from Bulgaria (including one just for Serdica, but unfortunately in Bulgarian) http://booksfrombulgaria.com/COINS/coins.htm#4

Was googling for "Caracalla Eros on Dolphin Coin" and from what I found it seems your coin is not from Serdica. Have a look at http://eroscoin.blogspot.com.au/201...dolphin.htmlYour coin is most likely from either Hadrianopolis or Trajanopolis. ADRIANOPOLEITWN or TRAIANOPOLEITWN seems to be the legend on your reverse, the OPOLEITWN is quite clear. Windwinds has examples of both, different legend arrangement on the Hadrianopolis one (but see the comment in the link above). My bet would be on Trajanopolis though, there seems to be a T at 8 o'clock which could be the start of the legend (and the picture for Trajanopolis in the link seems to be a good match).

I have a couple of silver punchmarked ingots such as these, but I have no method of confirming the dealer's attributions.
I would have bought the Serdican piece for a bargain price without any attribution, but given enough patience and time, I think I could have fully identified it. If not, I would have taken it to one of my friends who has been dealing in ancients for most of his life; he has excellent book references to help him.
I don't like 'egg on face' with a failed id however, so a year or more would have had to elapse, before giving in. Then I would HAVE to buy him a beer!
