I am not a particular fan of toned Peace dollars, but I liked this one so much I bought it a few years ago.

It's very different, to say the least.

Nice! Maybe a bit lighter in hand? I'm still on the lookout for a toner peace for my toned 7070 set.. Not too easy to find, especially at a decent price!

I used to hunt for stuff like this in the dealer bullion cans. The closest I found was a sharply struck lustrous unc that was as black as coal.

Not my preference, but I'm glad you like it.

I don't necessarily love the look of it, but I love the fact that it is different. I do enjoy seeing toned coins although I don't really collect them. Its fun to see the history of a coins life in its color and details. Also trying to figure out how and why each coin ended up uniquely toned.

Bullseye toning on a Peace dollar is very tough to find. I bet if you fire this thing up under strong axial lighting you'll see something interesting.

Sort of being a toned coin hater, I'd more than likely dip it in something if it was mine. However, that is what makes this hobby so great. So many different types of coin to collect.

I bought a toned Peace a few years back. One of only a couple I have cracked out for my Dansco. Was NGC graded MS61, but the toning was great. I paid $41 for it, which at the time of purchase, was only about $3 over spot. Pics dont really look as good as the coin. The blue goes all the way around the reverse edge.
