Pennynickelguy Valued Member United States 308 Posts	Posted 12/24/2014 8:28 pm Just swung by the LCS on Christmas Eve to browse and I ended up putting this on lay-away...I really had no intention to pick up a 1877 this year, but I liked it and didn't want to let it get away. Pennynickelguy Valued Member United States 308 Posts	Posted 12/26/2014 4:19 pm Well, I really liked the OBV of this coin, I think it is a solid G-4, but the dent on the REV was too much for me. Embarrassingly, I really didn't notice it until I got home and blew up the pictures for my cellphone. Luckily, LCS was cool with me backing out, so I put the original "down payment" towards a 1909-S IHC. Photos coming soon! I am very depressed that I am not going to have an 1877 anytime soon, but I think it is important to be able to feel good about a major coin purchase like an 1877. Report this Post to the Staff
